Distant Relatives

Nas and Damian Marley finally released their album Distant Relatives, no idea how far this album has been pushed back. Anyone following Nas on Twitter might have noticed that one of his mere 19 tweets stated that they were trying to get the album out in the summer of 2009...

Nevertheless, a year later, the final product is out at last.

Tracklist:
1. As We Enter
2. Tribes at War (feat. K'naan)
3. Strong Will Continue
4. Leaders (feat. Stephen Marley)
5. Friends
6. Count Your Blessings
7. Disappear
8. Land of Promise (feat. Dennis Brown)
9. In His Own Words (feat. Stephen Marley)
10. Nah Mean
11. Patience
12. My Generation (feat. Joss Stone & Lil' Wayne)
13. Africa Must Wake Up (feat. K'naan)

You could Download it! but all the money collected from sales is being donated to charity so perhaps think twice

The Cold Vein

A grimey hip-hop album with a very underground feel to it. It features some unique production which is pretty dark and spacey, using a lotta cosmic pads, heavy synths and bleeps, all blending in with the swinging kicks and snares that have become synonymous with New York hip-hop.

If you're familiar with Aesop Rock these guys have a very similar way of rhyming: very abstract but never lacking in wit.

Cannibal Ox - The F-Word

Cannibal Ox - A B-Boys Alpha

If you're into underground hip-hop then it's definitely worth giving this album a listen.

2010-2011 Football Kits

For those that care about football, here are some speculative shirts which might be used next season.

I can't guarantee that any of the shirts you see here are authentic or will be used next season.

Tottenham (Home)

Real Madrid (Home)

Inter Milan (Away...and pretty sick.)
Bayern Munich (Home)

The Advantage

A band from California that makes covers of songs off of old NES games such as Metroid, MegaMan, Castlevania, Bubble Bobble and many more.

Check out their awesome cover of MegaMan 2 Flashman:

I'm not having much luck finding anywhere to download their albums or EP's from, although they do have a few songs on their MySpace, and a quick YouTube search will find you some of their songs too.

Four Lions

I can't wait to see this film, looks hilarious.

Haven't heard of it? Check out the trailer:

Champions

5 league titles in a row. Now bring home the Champions League trophy!

One Foot Ahead Of The Other.

Great EP. Beautiful combination of heavy kicks, glitchy blips and melodic pads.
Not convinced? There is a quick run-through of the tracklist on Youtube.

Highly recommended.
